Come out and join Houston 110 Cares and The Sawyer Club Sunday May 23rd 9:00AM-12:00PM at Jesse Jones park where will be volunteering our time to the keeping Houston beautiful initiative.

Who are Houston 110 Cares?

Houston 110 Cares is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of underserved youths through community action, donations, and art education.

What To Expect:

– Children 16 and under are welcome to volunteer as long as a parent or adult leader volunteers alongside them.

– We will be assigned a priority project in Jones Park based on our group size and abilities. A wide range of service projects are needed including trail maintenance, habitat restoration, and litter collection.

– No experience is necessary. A park ranger will provide training and guidance.

– We will provide you with trash bags and non-latex gloves to clean the park as well as water and light snacks.

– Remember to dress appropriately on cleanup day. You should wear sturdy shoes – no open toed shoes, sunglasses and a hat.

– Also, please consider a high-SPF sunscreen for you and any children who might also be volunteering, and bug repellant just in case.
